Ava the Elephant is a medicine dispenser designed for children. She’s “cleverly disguised as a toy” and allows parents to dispense liquid medicine with ease. And Ava talks! “One, Two, Three…Open Wide! Good Job!” she says. The entrepreneur behind Ava, Tiffany Krummins, pitched her product on Shark Tank and made a deal with Barbara Corcoran — $50,000 for 55% equity.
The tricky thing about Ava the Elephant is finding her. The original product is no longer available on the company website. It sold out. So while customers wait for the new design (“This product has not been recalled, it is simply being redesigned to fit the needs of our customers”), a handful of Ava the Elephants are available on Amazon (see link above).
