Layzie Bone can check “save a life” off his bucket list — because the rapper gave a man in a car accident on Saturday more time to check things off his own bucket list. An erratic driver in Wyoming caught Layzie and the band’s attention as his car swerved all over the road and into the dirt, finally spinning to a stop, the driver half-conscious.
As Layzie Bone tells the story, the driver “didn’t know who anybody was” until Layzie asked him — as is common protocol in emergency car accident situations — if he knew who Bone Thugs-n-Harmony was. Mere mention of the group’s name snapped the driver back to attention. Yeah, replied the driver, who told Layzie he was diabetic and had had a seizure. Layzie gave the 24-year-old driver some fruit and chocolate. There happened to be an EMS truck right behind Layzie’s ride too (“thanks to the EMS on the scene that happens to be driving right behind us,” he wrote on Facebook), though the story goes it was Layzie who saved the driver, not the EMS workers. And a good story it is.
