James Harden is carrying his team nearly by himself, just like LeBron James is doing for Cleveland. The only difference so far is that Harden hasn’t yet been able to push the Rockets to victory in the conference finals. Yet. The old saying goes that a series only begins when a team loses at home. That hasn’t happened yet to Houston. Down 2-0 in two games that could have gone the other way, the Rockets head home for Game 3. What Harden will do on his home floor is tantalizing to imagine.
What’s Harden been doing so far at Golden State that’s so special? In Game 2 Harden had 38 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. In Game 1 he scored a mere 28 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and and dishing nine assists again. This series may just be getting started.
