Gronkowski Loses Madden To Odell Beckham, Settles For Romance

Odell Beckham Jr. won the coveted spot on the cover of Madden NFL 16, the video game juggernaut that reflects who rules the football zeitgeist. A wide receiver for the New York Giants, Beckham Jr. is just 22 and will be the youngest player ever to grace the cover.

The top contenders for the spot were Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson, Steelers receiver Antonio Brown, and Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski. Gronkowski finished second. Gronkowski is not one to grumble though. He’s already diversifying his portfolio and will probably just return to being on the cover (and on the pages) of hot romance novels.
