Australian golfer Robert Allenby was allegedly kidnapped, beaten and robbed in Hawaii. He was there playing at the Sony Open. Allenby failed to make the cut after the first two days of play.
According to The Golf Channel reporter Steve Sands, Allenby was drinking at a wine bar Friday night in Honolulu when he was put into a car, beaten and robbed. Allenby woked up in a “groggy” state and with no recollection of the events.
