After John Boehner went after President Obama in a letter using 12 animated Taylor Swift GIFs, PBS Newshour knew the game had changed. It’s a GIF world now, and they have to play in it too. So PBS has done its own animated GIF series, called unofficially A Tale of Two Parties, using ten animated GIFs to show critical moments in the State of the Union. History, have mercy on us.
