The 24-year-old exotic dancer Chloe Goins appeared with her attorney Spencer Kuvin at a Los Angeles police department wearing a see-through black top revealing a black bra with skinny jeans. She is the latest woman accusing comedian Bill Cosby of sexual assault. Goins’ profession and choice of attire is provoking reputation questions that echo the old “she’s asking for it” charge — the kind of comments that are prevalent in “rape culture.” Listen to attorney Royal Oakes talk to Inside Edition: “Credibility is king in this kind of case. Here you have allegedly, a Vegas lap dancer. Not exactly Mother Teresa. Her credibility problems could taint the credibility of all the purported victims.” Goins was arrested for prostitution in 2011 but the charges were dropped.
Goins’ attorney believes she is within California’s legal statute of limitations to bring criminal charges against Cosby. Goins is accusing Cosby of drugging her. She said at the 2008 Midsummer Night’s Dream party at the Playboy Mansion, she awoke to find Cosby licking her toes.
