The CBS reality show Undercover Boss was made for John Hartmann. The President and CEO of the hardware co-op True Value spent 10 years as a special agent for the FBI before joining corporate America. As he puts it, “I was given a badge and gun and got paid to chase bad guys.”
On the Season 6 premiere of Undercover Boss, which airs Sunday, December 14 at 8pm, Hartmann puts on a long wig, moustache and glasses to work as “Louis Lapresi.” Along the way, he can’t believe the antics of one his employees, Brad, who says the store is the best place to pick up women.
