Sad Born to Die singer/songwriter Lana Del Rey announced that she will tour this summer with the frontwoman of Hole, Courtney Love. Del Rey is promoting her sophomore album Ultraviolence and Love is supposedly working on a new solo album which “is expected to surface sometime in 2015,” hopefully before what their calling the “Endless Summer” tour begins.
So far though, it doesn’t seem very endless. One would think that the two divas would be able to draw big crowds but they have just 10 dates lined up and they’re all out West – Texas, Colorado, Arizona, California, Washington – and in small amphitheaters in Indiana and Illinois. One would think New York native Del Ray would secure Webster Hall or Bowery Ballroom for one night, no?
