French actress Eva Green is the star of the Showtime show Penny Dreadful which will return for a ten-episode season in 2015. A very short teaser/trailer was released today.
After playing the spiritualist in the show, Green has been asked about her personal beliefs. She recently told British magazine Hello!: “There are forces, yes – I’m not religious but I believe there is something other.” Green is Jewish, as is her mother, actress Marlene Jobert, although Green was raised without religion. That doesn’t keep Shalom Life from ranking Green as Number 2 on its list of “the 50 most talented, intelligent, funny and gorgeous Jewish women in the world.”
