Clint Reif, the Chicago Blackhawks’ longtime assistant equipment manager, was found dead in his suburban home Sunday morning, December 21. Reif was married with four young children.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports that his death is still under investigation. “It’s something that still hasn’t sunk in for us yet,” Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews said after Sunday’s game. “We’re still in disbelief. The fact that we went out there and played the way we did, I think we dedicated that one to our good friend Clint.”
