A 29-year-old former Bank of America Merrill Lynch trader is accused of murdering and hiding the bodies of two women–assumed to be prostitutes–in his posh apartment in Hong Kong. Rurik Jutting, who allegedly confessed to the murders in a phone call to police this weekend, was educated at Cambridge.
Jutting apparently called when guilt overcame him after he murdered the second woman–he called that night. The second woman, found in a suitcase had been dead much longer. The man’s out of office email message, until this week thought to be a joke, suggested that callers who couldn’t reach him should instead try to contact someone who’s not “an insane psychopath.”
