For those who thought University of Florida coach Billy Donovan (who has won two national championships) was merely making a public relations gesture when he recruited the one-handed Zach Hodskins last year, here’s the news: Hodskins got some minutes for the Gators this week.
In Florida’s home opener Hodskins came in for the final 2 minutes, as the Gators were blowing out visiting William & Mary. Hodskins, a Georgia native who is known as an outstanding long-range shooter, didn’t score in his debut.
