Former Presidents George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush were at the official launch of the younger Bush’s new book at his father’s presidential library at Texas A&M University this week. The book, “41: A Portrait of My Father,” is described by the author as “a love story….It’s a story of an extraordinary man, in my judgment, the finest one-term president our country has ever had.”
When asked about having another Bush (brother Jeb) in the White House, George W replied: “We can pressure him all we want, but it’s not going to matter… It’s not going to cause him to think positively or negatively if we all continue to harass him. Only he can decide.” Jeb was not at the event.
