VH1 reality TV star Tameka “Tiny” Harris of T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle and Tiny & Shekinah’s Weave Trip traveled to Africa to change the color of her eyes permanently. The operation is illegal in the U.S. She went from brown to ice gray. Harris explained the procedure to ABC News. “They go into the eye and they make a little slit.” She added, “They take an implant [a medical-grade silicone] and it’s folded up. They open it [and] spread it over your eye.”
Harris said she was immediately happy with the results. On Instagram, she thanked the doctor who performed the procedure and is encouraging people with eye conditions such as ocular albinism and iris coloboma to consider the procedure. “Brightocular can help you,” she wrote.
