Desperate reality TV star Tori Spelling sat down with the ex-wife of her troubled husband Dean McDermott. And yes, the conversation was filmed for her show True Tori. Mary Jo Eustace separated from McDermott after 13 years of marriage when she discovered that he was cheating on her with Spelling. Eustace is no stranger to the camera. Mary Jo was on What’s for Dinner?–one of the Canadian Life Network‘s most popular series–throughout its run during the late 1990s. She also appeared on a number of other Canadian cooking/talk shows.
In the televised Tori meeting, Mary Jo tells Tori that even if Tori had said no to the new relationship, “it would have been somebody else.” She added, “I think he was really determined.” Eustace wrote about her marriage and break-up in the book Divorce Sucks: What to do when irreconcilable differences, lawyer fees, and your ex’s Hollywood wife make you miserable.
