Google is launching a new app that takes email to the next level. It’s invitation-only so far–just how Gmail first started–but send an email to [email protected] and you can get on the list. The best thing about Inbox is a cool ‘bundles’ feature where Google takes what it knows and organizes things for you–your school stuff, credit card bills, bank statements, fantasy football info, all kinds of stuff. And Google bundles a lot of it without any help from you—it’s like someone cleaning out the junk drawer in your kitchen.
Inbox will also do ‘reminders’ with relevant info–if you are studying for something or need to work on that presentation not only will it ping you about it, it’ll supply the materials you need.
