A juror in the sentencing re-trial of convicted killer Jodi Arias has been dismissed. Arias was convicted of killing her lover Travis Alexander. She’s now facing either the death penalty or life in prison. When not in session, the juror approached a journalist whom she believed was HLN television personality Nancy Grace. Jurors are not supposed to talk to anyone related to the court proceedings or the press.
The woman mistaken for Nancy Grace is a legal analyst with blond hair but her name is Beth Karas. She’s a freelance journalist covering the trial. When she realized the woman who approached her was a juror, Karas reported the incident to the judge who then dismissed the juror. For a play-by-play on the trial, follow @BethKaras.
