Dakota Johnson of Fifty Shades of Grey is the daughter of Tippie Hedren’s daughter Melanie Griffith (Working Girl) and Don Johnson (Miami Vice). Don Johnson met Melanie Griffith when she was 14 years old and they moved in together. They got engaged when Griffith was 18. Dakota’s parents split about seven years after her birth. Don Johnson married a Montessori school teacher, Griffith married Antonio Banderas (The Mask of Zorro).
When Dakota was around 17, she checked into rehab. She claimed it was related to stress and “desperately needing therapy.” Dakota, now 25 years old, is dating actor Jordan Masterson (Last Man Standing) who recently installed double sinks in her house as a birthday present. “I think double sinks are the key to any relationship,” Dakota told Elle.
