Dylan O’Brien of MTV’s Teen Wolf (he plays Stiles) stars in the newly released blockbuster film The Maze Runner. It’s based on James Dashner’s young adult novel of the same title which follows Thomas, a boy who is trapped in a maze with other boys after his memory has been erased. The sequel, The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, is already in the works. Look for the The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials to be released September 18, 2015.
Prior to hitting the big screen, O’Brien had his own YouTube channel and used to be in a boy band called Slow Kids at Play. (He was the drummer.) When asked who his favorite person to follow on Twitter is, he said his mom. “She tweets and always retweets what I write. It’s really cute.” His mother, Lisa (who has 10k followers, btw) is a former actress and also ran an acting school when Dylan was young. Dylan’s father, Patrick, is a camera operator in the industry, too. He’s worked on films including Forrest Gump, Spider-Man, Iron Man 3, and most recently The Fantastic Four.)
