One of the minor characters in the Harry Potter books is Celestina Warbeck. Readers have never seen her, her name is mentioned just three times throughout the series but she’s one of author J.K. Rowling’s “favorite ‘off-stage’ characters.” Now Celestina, one of Mrs. Weasley’s favorite singers, has her own story available on Pottermore.com, Rowling’s website. Well, it’s more like a character sketch at 500-words.
Harry Potter fans can listen to Celestina, also known as ‘the Singing Sorceress,’ sing her massive global hit, You Stole My Cauldron But You Can’t Have My Heart, on Pottermore.com. Rowling fans hope she writes the lyrics to Celestina’s next song. It’s been reported that Rowling came up with the title for You Stole My Cauldron and then “let the theme park [Universal Orlando’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter] write their own jazz tune.”
