Hollywood stars are turning heads at the Los Angeles premiere of the Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie as the titular doll character, Ryan Gosling (as Ken), and directed by Greta Gerwig.
When actress Ming-Na Wen (Mulan, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Star Wars) walked the pink carpet, she stunned in a tight, off-shoulder pink bodycon dress with strappy stilettos.
When Wen shared the close-up photo below, she captioned: “I’m digging the Asian Barbie look” with red heart emojis.
With the photo series below, Wen (who brought her son, Cooper Zee, with her to the premiere, photo below) gave the movie a rave review: “Barbie was hilarious! The most amazing sets and costumes. I want to live in Barbieland!💕”
Get ready to see more of Wen: her next project is the sci-fi film Persephone. It’s about three astronauts struggling to survive in a mysterious alien world. Her co-stars are Brianna Hildebrand (Deadpool) and Esai Morales (La Bamba, Mission Impossible). Directed by Jeffrey Morris.
Note: In Greek mythology, Persephone is the daughter of Zeus and Demeter, who becomes the queen of the underworld after her abduction by and marriage to her uncle Hades, the king of the underworld.
