Billionaire Bill Gates and his ex-wife Melinda French are the parents of three children including 20-year-old Stanford student, Phoebe Gates.
As seen below, Phoebe and her mother attended the Shawn Carter Foundation’s annual black tie gala. Below is Phoebe (center in black dress with gold breastplate by designer Gabriela Hearst) with rapper Meek Mill (right) and social entrepreneur and fellow Stanford Cardinal, Sophia Kianni (left).
With the photos, Phoebe Gates reports that “Thanks to the generous support of attendees like Meek Mill, they raised $20 million to further their mission of providing scholarships, educational opportunities, and more for underserved youth and families from disenfranchised communities.”
Rapper Jay-Z (born Shawn Carter) founded the organization with his mother, Gloria Carter.
Note: When Hollywood movie star and filmmaker Olivia Wilde (Booksmart, Don’t Worry Darling) wore that same dress in November at the red carpet movie premiere for Women Talking in Beverly Hills, W magazine reported: “Olivia Wilde Dresses Defensively In a Gold Armor Gown.”
As seen above, actress Amanda Seyfried (Mean Girls, Momma Mia!, Mank) also wore the dress in May.
