Hollywood movie star Alicia Silverstone (Clueless) is best friends with New York fashion designer Christian Siriano (Season 4 Project Runway winner, 2007). They often collaborate on creative and commercial projects including this year’s Super Bowl ad for online retailer Rakuten.
Silverstone and Siriano even vacation together, as seen in the photos above and below in Italy. The power duo — and Siriano’s boyfriend, fellow designer Kyle Smith — stopped in Milan (above) before reaching their final destination, the famous city of Como, which is situated on the legendary Lake Como.
When Siriano dropped the dramatic photos above and below, of Silverstone modeling his new pink gown with thin squiggly black trim, he captioned the series: “Sometimes you just need pink gowns in Como with Alicia Silverstone!”
His fans are going wild over the dress. (Technically, it’s a two-piece set as Silverstone flaunts her bare abs in a bandeau top which matches the skirt.)
One fan replied: “That’s not a pink gown. That’s THE pink gown,” one replied. Another chimed in: “It’s my Peaches ‘n’ Cream Barbie come to life!” Another favorite comment is: “Oh my goodness it’s like a beautiful jellyfish. So gorgeous.” Even the official Project Runway account reacted, with one word: “Stunning.”
