Country music star Luke Bryan had to work on Mother’s Day. Sunday, May 14 was “Disney Night” on American Idol where Bryan’s job as a judge (with new mom Katy Perry and father of three, Lionel Richie) is to encourage contestants to give it their all as they get closer to the finals of the singing competition.
Still, Bryan made sure to wish his wife Caroline “Lina” Bryan, a Happy Mother’s Day with the photo below. That’s Lina in a white bathrobe, sitting on the couch with an IV in her arm, holding a martini in one hand and balancing a salad on her lap. He captioned it: “Martinis, IV’s and salads is her favorite combo. Happy Mother’s Day @linabryan3 from the #Idol desk tonight!”
Ms. Bryan replied to her husband of 17 years: “Why do you torture me????? You must search for the pictures from hell,” with a woman facepalming emoji.
Fans of both Bryans are going wild over the photo and their exchange. As one sympathetic fan replied to Ms. Bryan (who clearly has a good sense of humor, see below): “I’m pretty sure ALL or MOST husbands do that.”
