Jessica Simpson is known as a singer, a reality TV star and fashionista. As seen in the stunning photos below in New York City, Simpson is modeling a number of fashion-forward ensembles including a sexy black one-shoulder dress (with pockets!).
Striking serious poses inside and outside, Simpson captioned the photos with a Bob Dylan lyric: “Whatever colors you have in your mind, I’ll show them to you and you’ll see them shine.”
The lyrics are from Dylan’s song ‘Lay, Lady, Lay’ which was originally released in 1969 on his Nashville Skyline album.
As seen above and below, Simpson is rocking a variety of looks and poses. She captioned the photo below: “There’s no expiration date to a dream.”
Fun fact about Dylan’s ‘Lay Lady Lady’: In a 1971 interview (for which transcripts were auctioned in 2020), Dylan said he wrote the song for Barbra Streisand. It’s been covered by many including The Byrds, and Duran Duran.
