Comedian and entrepreneur Kevin Hart was one of the top — and definitely most effusive — commenters when NBA star Russell Westbrook gave a public shoutout about his new Honor The Gift store opening in LA.
This first Honor The Gift retail store is part of a labor of love and sense of obligation on Westbrook’s part. “The structure and foundation for the entire brand is to serve the Inner City,” he writes, “and give back to the communities who need it the most.”
Hart wrote: ‘This is so dope man!!!!! I love it…proud as f*&k of you champ.” When you’re as passionate as Hart is about Westbrook, you use a little profanity to make that pride pop.
NBA star and former UCLA star (like Westbrook) Norman Powell was also quick to respond, telling Westbrook “Yessir!” Former NBA star and current assistant coach for the Dallas Mavericks Jared Dudley also gave Russ the thumbs way up.
Westbrook and Dudley, a former Laker, are shown here at the wedding of Westbrook’s current Lakers teammate Anthony Davis:
Honor The Gift is open seven days a week and is located at 130 N. La Brea Ave in Los Angeles.
