In the Season 5 premiere episode of S.W.A.T., “Vagabundo’ (translated from Spanish as “bum”), after speaking out to the press in Los Angeles, Hondo (Shemar Moore) retreats to a quiet town in Mexico. The quiet doesn’t last long: Hondo gets reluctantly drawn into one local family’s fight for justice. He does his best to protect the livelihood of a gorgeous young woman named Delfina Reyes, who is portrayed by actress/model Val Dorantes.
