Singer/actress Miranda Cosgrove is best known for her role as Carly in the super-popular Nickelodeon series iCarly which ran from 2007 to 2012. Now 28 years old, Miranda has reprised her role as Carly Shay for the Paramount+ revival iCarly series, with her former co-stars Jerry Trainor (Carly’s big brother Spencer) and Nathan Kress (Carly’s friend Freddy).
When Miranda announced that the cast is back on set to film Season 2, she shared the gorgeous photo above — of her in a red sequin crop top and black vegan leather boyfriend pants and long braids. The fashion label Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet (who’s behind that shiny ensemble) replied: “Obsessed!”
In the iCarly revival series, Carly moves back to her own apartment building in Seattle; Spencer is a wealthy artist, and Freddie lives with his mother with his adopted 11-year-old stepdaughter after his second marriage failed. When Carly decides to relaunch her iCarly webshow, Spencer and Freddie, and her new friends, are all in.
