CMA Best of Fest is a three-hour ABC TV event that will highlight several performances throughout the past 16 years of CMA Fest. (This year’s music fest was cancelled due to COVID-19.) Country music star Luke Bryan will host the special, which will include a special performance with Luke Bryan’s buddy Darius Rucker, former lead singer of Hootie and the Blowfish.
One day prior to the prime-time event, Darius Rucker took to Instagram to announce that he and his wife Beth have made the decision to “consciously uncouple.”
Many fans and friends left notes of love including Brad Paisley (“Love to you”) and former US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley who wrote: “Prayers for strength and peace for both of you and your sweet family.” CMA Best of Fest airs Monday, July 13 at 8 pm on ABC.
