Even when the NBA season isn’t on hiatus, half the NBA chatter is about the all-time greats — how to rank them, how to handle the differences in eras, who was the GOAT? The questions go on and on.
But with the NBA on hold like everything else, those GOAT-plus conversations are escalating! Here’s one list — and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal says he’s “Not mad at this.”
In fact, Shaq says very humbly and very modestly that “probably would of moved me to number ten” though. What? Shaq just barely makes the top ten, in his own opinion? Well all he’s really saying is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Bill Russell (most points and most titles respectively) might go ahead of him.
After all, the NBA has been around a long time — there are lots of legends. Think of all the true superstars who don’t even scratch this list…Dr. J? Wilt Chamberlain? Scottie Pippen? Steph Curry? Think about this: there are only three members of the Dream Team on this list. Wow.
