Phil Jurkovec is the sophomore quarterback playing for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (5-1). So far this 2019 season, the 6’5” 215 lb. QB from Gibsonia, Pennsylvania has played twice; he’s thrown 131 yards and one touchdown. The TD was during the Bowling Green Falcons game which Notre Dame won 51-0. Irish fans are eager to see how Jurkovec will do against the Michigan Wolverines (5-2).
When not on the field, Jurkovec spends time with his gorgeous high school sweetheart girlfriend Molly Rottinghaus who plays on the women’s field hockey team at Boston University (class of 2022). Fun fact: Molly’s father Dave and two of her uncles played football at Bowling Green!
Not that Jurkovec needs any extra incentive, but he will certainly want to keep impressing Molly!
The Notre Dame vs Michigan game will be broadcast live from Michigan Stadium on Saturday, October 26 at 7:30 pm on ABC.
