On the New Amsterdam episode “Replacement,” while Dr. Max Goodwin (Ryan Eggold) takes a chance on a new assistant, and Dr. Iggy Frome (Tyler Labine) struggles to figure out what is causing a unit-wide illness, Drs. Lauren Bloom (Janet Montgomery) and Dr. Helen Sharpe (Freema Agyeman) continue to do their rounds at the hospital.
