Belgium-born French professional tennis player Fiona Ferro is competing at the 2019 US Open. She defeated Daria Gavrilova during the first round and fellow French pro Kristina Mladenovic during the second round. The 22-year-old Ferro faces the world-ranked No. 18 Chinese pro Wang Qiang for her third-round match on Friday, August 30 (2:35 pm at the Grandstand).
After winning her first career WTA Tour singles title in July in Lausanne (she defeated defending champion Alize Cornet — 6–1, 2–6, 6–1), Ferro took a holiday break and enjoyed the sun in a bikini with fellow 22-year-old French tennis pro Margot Yerolymos.
Watch some highlights as Ferro defeated Kristina Mladenovic to advance to the third round of the US Open 2019.
