One day before the 2019 Met Gala — held annually at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan — Met Gala regular Sarah Jessica Parker took to social media. No, the Sex in the City actress didn’t reveal her outlandish get-up for this year’s event (last year she wore a gigantic crown that housed a full nativity scene in it). Alas, she and her BFF, Bravo exec Andy Cohen can’t make it this year. Instead, SJP featured the fashion design of her 9-year-old daughter Tabitha.
The 54-year-old mother of three posted a photo of a sweet grey and white knitted baby hat created by Tabitha. SJP writes “Tabitha will soon be taking orders.” (And next she’ll probably move on to shoes, like these SJP heels.) Tabitha is no stranger to fashion or the red carpet. She and her twin sister Marion attended New York City Ballet’s 2018 Spring Gala with their mom (video below). Who knows, maybe SJP will wear a full ensemble knitted by Tabitha at the 2020 Met Gala.
