The protagonist of the Lifetime movie Psycho Stripper is dance instructor Amber Clarke. One week before her wedding, she discovers that Hunter (Tyler Johnson), the exotic male dancer from her bachelorette party, is obsessed with her and harboring a vendetta. He proves he will do anything to keep Amber from marrying her Mr. Right, Owen (Mark Hapka).

Amber is portrayed by Karissa Lee Staples. Prior to becoming an actress, Staples was crowned Miss Maine in 2006, and became the youngest contestant to compete in the 2007 Miss America Pageant. As an actress, she’s known for her roles on The Lottery (Perry), Necessary Roughness (Paloma), and What’s Up Warthogs! (Victoria), among others. Psycho Stripper premieres on Lifetime on Sunday, May 5 at 8 pm.
