In the Season 8 premiere episode of Game of Thrones, the Wall has fallen and the Night King’s (Vladimír Furdík) army of the dead marches towards Westeros. Keep in mind, in the Season 7 finale, Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbæk) left King’s Landing to fetch the Golden Company in Essos and bring them to Westeros. The sellsword group of mercenaries (all 10,000 of them) is led by Commander Harry Strickland.
