In the God Friended Me episode “Scenes From an Italian Restaurant,” the God Account sends Miles (Brandon Michael Hall) and Cara (Violett Beane) the name of Sophia, a sous chef. When they learn that her dream of opening her own restaurant is in danger, they decide to help her. Miles offers her an offer she can’t refuse (a working kitchen!).
Chef Sophia on God Friended Me is portrayed by actress Stella Maeve. Born in Nyack, New York, Maeve is known for her roles as Julia Wicker on Syfy’s The Magicians (Julia Wicker), Nadia Decotis on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Chicago P.D., and in the films including The Runaways (rock star drummer Sandy West, see cool link above) and Transamerica (Taylor), among others.
