On the Married to Medicine: Los Angeles episode “Jazzy’s Dollhouse Brunch,” actress Asha Kamali Blankinship takes her husband, physiatrist Dr. Larry Blankinship, to their first family planning visit. Meanwhile, during date night, Dr. Robert Drummond spills tea to his wife Shanique about Asha and Larry. Shanique doesn’t understand why Asha is worried about Larry’s ex, Dr. Anisa Smith, who Shanique and Larry are good friends with. When Shanique says, “Why worry about an ex from six years ago? Were they ever engaged?” Robert met Anisa during her residency and says he doesn’t think they were engaged. But, Larry was trying to make things work with Anisa “while he and Asha were on a break.”

Robert explains that it’s totally normal to date multiple people before proposing to someone. “There was overlap,” Robert tells Shanique. Even though Robert thinks it’s normal, he does predict that if the two women were to compare timelines, “that could be an issue.” Shanique takes a deep breath. When she raises her wine glass and suggests pouring one out “for the dead homies,” Robert says, “No, we’re not doing that. You’re just being ridiculous now.” Married to Medicine: Los Angeles airs Sundays at 9 pm on Bravo.
