Hip Chixs is a line of denim jeans designed to eliminate “whale tales” and “muffin tops.” The two Texas sorority sisters who founded the clothing company, Megan Jackson Carreker and Aimee Miller, pitched Hip Chixs on Shark Tank in 2013 but, alas, didn’t get a deal. Shark Lori Greiner suggested that the two try to design something else, something unique.

Hip Chixs is no longer (although a few pairs are available on Amazon, see link above). According to her Instagram account, Aimee is now working as lead trainer at Sculpt House which is opening a gym in Dallas in May 2019. Sculpt House is known for their workouts on treadmills. According to LinkedIn, Megan kept her job at Fossil where she is currently the lead Photography Stylist for Fossil Group. She started at Fossil as a designer for the brand’s women’s apparel including fashion knits and sweaters. New episodes of Shark Tank air Sundays at 10 pm on ABC, right after American Idol.
