In the A Million Little Things episode “the rock,” Eddie (David Giuntoli) and Katherine’s (Grace Park) divorce mediation becomes complicated, and Rome (Romany Malco) receives an unexpected visit from his brother Omar (Jay Pharoah, Saturday Night Live). Meanwhile, Gary (James Roday) and Maggie (Allison Miller) try to check an item off her bucket list after a treatment. Fellow cancer patient Linda is portrayed by Broadway star Marissa Jaret Winokur.

Marissa is best known for winning the first season of Big Brother: Celebrity Edition in 2018, for making it to the semi-finals on Season 6 of Dancing with the Stars in 2008 (Kristi Yamaguchi won), and for winning Broadway’s 2003 Tony Award as Best Actress (Musical) for her role as Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray. Note: Winokur was diagnosed with cervical cancer during the early development of Hairspray. Without revealing her condition to anyone except her immediate family, she underwent treatment, made a full recovery, and remained in the show.
