In the Criminal Minds episode “Chameleon,” FBI Special Agent David Rossi (Joe Mantegna) questions his actions in the aftermath of a near-death struggle with a serial killer who appears to have outsmarted the BAU. When the team arrives at the home of the Lynch family, they save young Grace Lynch (guest star Alex Jennings, The Goldbergs) but discover the house has been littered with masks made of human flesh. Rossi “faces the worst ordeal of his life” and faces Roberta Lynch in jail who calls Rossi “a bad boy.”
Serial killer Roberta Lynch is portrayed by Sharon Lawrence. The four-time Emmy Award nominee is known for her roles on Shameless (Margo), Me, Myself and I (Eleanor), Rizzoli & Isles (Dr. Hope Martin), Drop Dead Diva (Bobbie Dobkins), One Tree Hill (Sylvia Baker), Monk (Linda Fusco), Ladies Man (Donna Stiles), NYPD Blue (A.D.A. Sylvia Costas-Sipowicz, SEE LINK ABOVE), and Fired Up (Gwen Leonard), among others. Criminal Minds airs Wednesdays at 10 pm on CBS.
