In the Season 6 premiere of The Blacklist, “Dr. Hans Koehler,” Red (James Spader) and the Task Force are looking for plastic surgeon Dr. Hans Koehler. The talented doctor creates new identities for wanted criminals including Bastien Moreau (Christopher Lambert). Dr. Koehler is portrayed by veteran actor Kenneth Tigar.

Tigar has appeared on so many TV shows since the 1970s it’s difficult to narrow it down. He’s perhaps best known for his recurring roles on House of Cards (Walter Doyle), The Man in the High Castle (Heinrich Himmler), L.A. Heat (Captain Jensen), Growing Pains (Sid Sidlevich), Dynasty (Fritz Heath), and Dallas (Dr. Gordon). He made his big screen debut in the 1975 film The Happy Hooker with Lynn Redgrave. Fun facts: Tigar earned a B.A. and a Ph.D. from Harvard University in German Literature, and was a Fulbright scholar at the University of Göttingen. The Blacklist airs Thursdays at 10 pm on NBC, right after The Titan Games with host Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
