Tush Baby is a baby carrier that is worn on the hip. The ergonomic design features a soft ledge made of memory foam for a baby’s tush to sit on. The Tush Baby is an alternative to the “complicated, hot, bulky strap-in baby carriers” on the market. It’s just one buckle and two safe guards, and yes, it comes with pockets (four!) so you can leave the diaper bag and your purse in the mini-van.

The inventor of Tush Baby, Tammy Rant, a pregnant mother of two daughters from Walnut Creek, California, pitches her baby accessory on Shark Tank on January 6. The Kim Kardashian doppelganger is seeking a $200,000 investment in exchange for 10 percent equity. (Note: Celebrity parents Kim Kardashian and Kanye West could certainly use a couple of Tush Baby carriers — they just announced that their surrogate is pregnant with their fourth child!)
On Shark Tank, Rant will target new dad Robert Herjavec, who in April 2018 had twin babies with his wife and former Dancing with the Stars partner Kym Johnson. Plus, Herjavec has a good track record with baby products on Shark Tank. In 2017, he invested in Tranquilo Mat, the portable vibrating mat designed to calm crying babies.
According to the “crowdfinding” video below, Rant says she went through 12 different prototypes to create the final chic product which can be worn by men and women! New episodes of Shark Tank air Sundays at 9 pm on ABC.
