In the Sister Wives episode “Sister Wife Secrets,” Meri Brown gets a lot of camera time. The 48-year-old first wife of Kody Brown finds a way to buy a Bed & Breakfast in Utah without the help of her husband or sister wives. Meri also introduces the family to her fellow catfished friend Kristie, and brings her to a family picnic. Meri and Kody’s daughter Mariah and her girlfriend Audrey are in town and join them at the family gathering.

Meri says about Mariah and Audrey: “They’re happy and loving the relationship that their in.” Kody, who’s wearing a super tight man bun, says, “I have fundamentalist friends, fundamentalist Mormon friends, polygamists many of them, who have gay children. And it’s not uncommon and so I’ve actually had some of them even show me scriptural rationalization for why it’s okay to be gay.”
Plus, the Browns are all about “loving one another.” Sister Wives airs Sundays at 8 pm on TLC, right before Seeking Sister Wife. [Related: Sister Wives: Meri Upset With Kody’s “Don’t Cohabitate” Joke]
