Instant Lifts is a patented product designed to remove the appearance of cellulite and sagging skin for women. When the clear adhesives are applied on the skin — tummy, thighs, arms, butt, and back — they “lift and re-position the skin to make everything look firm and tight.” The founders of Instant Lifts, husband and wife team Nick and Penilopee LaRosa of Tampa, Florida, claim the adhesives last up to 12 to 15 hours a day. They pitched their business on Shark Tank in March 2012. They went into the Tank seeking an investment of $100,000 in exchange for 25 percent equity but, alas, did not land a deal.

After Shark Tank, the LaRosas re-branded their product as Skinnies (see link above). They are also the inventors of Smooth Sleepers, a product that “flattens wrinkles while you sleep”, which is similar to Instant Lifts as they are clear dermadhesive strips but are designed specifically for under the eyes and between the eyebrows (see link above). However, the LaRosas excluded Smooth Sleepers from their Shark Tank pitch. New episodes of Shark Tank air Sunday nights on ABC. [Related: 27 Favorite ‘Shark Tank’ Products at Amazon — New List]
