Brush Hero is a patented water-powered oscillating detail brush designed to clean the tires, wheels and rims of cars and trucks but can be used on anything. Two of the inventors of Brush Hero, Kevin Williams and Glenn Archer from Alexandria, Virginia, pitched their business on Shark Tank in January 2018. They went into the Tank seeking an investment of $500,000 in exchange for 10 percent equity. They received two separate offers from Daymond John and Lori Greiner – both Sharks wanted $500k for 25 percent and were not willing to accept a 20 percent counteroffer. Alas, Brush Hero walked out of the Tank without a deal.
After Shark Tank, Brush Hero continues to hustle at automobile convention shows including SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) for wholesalers and is getting rave reviews from individual car lovers. Right before the holidays, Brush Hero was named one of “The 25 Best Gifts for the Car Lover in Your Life” by Car and Driver. New episodes of Shark Tank air Sundays at 9pm on ABC.
