The Kyrie Irving photographer deserves some credit too, because the camera doesn’t move down to Kyrie’s feet until near the end. It ain’t quite Hitchcock, but it’s pretty good suspense. Kyrie keeps the viewer engaged even before we get to his feet, catching balls being tossed to him with great touch and dexterity and dribbling two balls at once — something we’ve seen in a lot of Steph Curry show-off-the-handles drills.
But then the big moment: Kyrie the basketball magician is actually balancing on two basketballs while he’s doing the tricks! Sick and sensational are just two of the adjectives being tossed around. Most people think basketball is played primarily with the hands, but all the great players and aficionados know that basketball is a game of footwork. Watch Kyrie and enjoy. (Hey, even Kyrie seems pretty impressed at the end!)
