In the Lifetime movie Killer Under the Bed, widow Sarah grieves the death of her husband. She decides she and her two teenage daughters, Chrissy (Madison Lawlor) and Kilee (Brec Bassinger, Bella and the Bulldogs), need a fresh start so they move to a different city. Chrissy adapts well, Kilee does not. And when Kilee finds a voodoo-like doll in the shed (with pins in it), their lives are turned upside-down. Kilee believes the doll has supernatural powers and is executing violent acts on her enemies, which she enjoys, at first.
[Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a cult classic for a reason]
Kilee’s mother Sarah is portrayed by Kristy Swanson. She’s best known for her role as Buffy in the 1992 cult classic film Buffy the Vampire Slayer (see link above). Swanson is also recognized for her roles on Psych (Marlowe Viccellio), Knots Landing (Jody Campbell), and in the films Dude, Where’s My Car? (Christie Boner), Flowers in the Attic (Cathy), and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (Simone Adamley), among others. Killer Under the Bed premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, October 20 at 8pm.
