Victoria’s Kitchen Almond Water is founded by two entrepreneurs who grew up drinking almond water in their native France. Husband and wife entrepreneurial team David and Deborah Meniane brought the refreshing drink to the U.S. beverage market. Both were born in Paris and are now living in the States. In January 2015, the Menianes pitched their Victoria’s Kitchen Almond Water on Shark Tank. They went into the Tank seeking an investment of $200,000 in exchange for 20 percent equity. Alas, they did not leave the Tank with a deal.

Almost three years after appearing on Shark Tank, Victoria’s Kitchen was acquired by exotic beverage and snack brand company Hispanica International in November 2017. According to LinkedIn, David Meniane “exited the company to Life on Earth in October 2017.” He’s now Executive Vice President at L.A. Libations, a beverage company in North America with ties to Coca-Cola, which works closely with Zico Coconut Water. [Related: 27 Favorite ‘Shark Tank’ Products — New List]
